PUPDATES

How are you guys? I'm doing well! Mom and Dad
say I'm such a good puppy -energetic when playing,
but when it is not play time - so calm and relaxed.
I play with Josie, the neighbor's dog, almost every
day. She is good to me. Every so often she has to put
me in my place though.
Every morning I go upstairs with Mom to help wake
Spencer and Dalton. I get to lay with both of them
for 10 minutes or so. I'm very good - I just lay close
to them and enjoy being petted. The kids constantly
tell me how cute I am.
The family cat has finally decided that I'm okay. I
think she even likes me.
I've been to the groomer one time and did well. I
don't think I will go all of the time. I just hear Mom
say she wants me to be used to the groomer - so
when I do need to go (maybe two or three times a
year) I will be used to it.
Last weekend Mom rented "The Trial of Old Drum"
and we all watched it. They seem to watch a lot of
movies with golden retrievers, dogs, cats, etc.
Mom still picks me up'and carries me around some.
Soon she wont be able to pick me up.
I went to the vet on Saturday for a puppy visit. I
weighed 31 pounds and am doing well.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Love,
Bentley
Hi George,

Sorry I missed you last week when
you brought the papers by for our
puppy.

Just wanted to let you know she is
doing really great. She hasn't
messed in her kennel for the last 4
days, and has made it up to 6 hours
during the evening without major
whining.

My daughter, who was wanting a pup
for Christmas, was crying the night
we showed her Allie.

Allie seems to be very
smart....maybe too smart at this
point!

She is already climbing up and down
the steps going to our second floor
and is extremely coordinated (I
think) for her age.

So far so good with her, although my
wife & I are a little out of practice
having a puppy to care for; it's been
24 years since we have.

Your girlfriend said you would be
interested in her progress, so I
thought I'd drop you a note.

Happy Holidays,
Steve Hausmann
Spencer, Dalton, and Bentley
We thought you might like to see how our puppy is doing. His name
is Duke
and he is the BEST dog ever.  He gets so much love and attention
from the
kids.  He has made a new friend in our dog Molly, who is a Westie.
She
keeps him in his place.  We are waiting until Duke grows a little
more and
shows her who is boss.

He was very timid the first few days and still is very docile for a
puppy.
He listens well and we think he won't be too hard to train.  He has a
few
accidents but for the most part has done really well with the
housebreaking.

Thanks again for the AWESOME dog.
This big guy
of Daisy's

cutie-pie.
This page is to show
how the puppies
we've sold are doing.
Updated Sept. 14,

These 2 girls
went home with
2 different
families on Dec.
30th. This was
their first time
in the house
since they were
3 wks old.
Molly went to my niece for
Christmas. We surprised her
on Christmas Eve. 3 mos.
Razzle went home with this
nice family on New Year's Eve.
Just look at those smiles!
George and Carolyn,
Thank you so much for your great
kennel.  Christmas went
wonderfully.  The kids were very
surprised and loved Holly from
the start.  Holly has become a big
part of the family.  She has
already met her doctor and did
very well.  She still needs a little
work on the house training.  She
will get there.  She has a very
good disposition.  Cheryl has
referred someone at work to you.
 Hopefully  they will be as
successful as we were.  Hope you
enjoy the pictures attached.  If
there is a problem seeing them,
let me know and I will mail them
to you.

Best wishes and God Bless,

Jeff and Cheryl Kalbac (and
Holly)
We kept Holly until Christmas Eve
so the kids would be surprised on
Christmas morning. The parents
were so excited just to finally get to
take her home.
Here is another update on
Duke.  He is 3 months old
now and growing
like
crazy.  I am pretty sure he is
three times the size as when
we got him.
(has it really only been one
month!!)  He has already
learned how to
give
paw and lay down.  He is
doing great with the
housebreaking, only an
occasional accident when we
are not paying enough
attention to him.  He
hates his kennel, so he has
been sleeping either in our
bathroom or
right
next to our bed.  He loves
constant attention which is not
a problem
with
all the kids.  He is just the
BEST!!  We love him so
much.  I am trying
to
talk Mike into a Valentine
puppy.  I already know which
one I want.  I
am
afraid we could not be so
lucky twice.  He is too good of
a dog.

THANKS AGAIN!!

The Larivees
Hello!  Wanted to give you an update on our Sparky.  We picked him up the week before Christmas -
have the 3 yr old twins & 5 yr old, in the red Suburban.  Sparky is doing great!  He is really a good boy.
Took him to the vet a couple of weeks ago and he was impressed with what a good dog he is.  We have
to be more concerned about someone stealing our dog and not so much the kids!  Everyone passed him
around like a baby at our Christmas party.  He's a big hit.  Will try to send you a picture soon.  I see
you've updated your website - cute puppies but one's enough.  I know if anyone we know wants a
golden we're sending them your way.  Potty training went good - it required more training on our part.
Thanks again for breeding such an awesome dog.

Hello,
I just wanted to drop you a little
note an let you know that Copper
is doing well. The two boys get
along great. Dallas (our 4 year
old golden) has really made
housebreaking easy. Dallas
sleeps by coppers kennel at night
and they play all day. The kids
love to feed him and take him
outside. They keep asking when
we will allow him to sleep with
them and I told them it will be
soon. They hate when he has to go
in his kennel. Here are a few
pictures that we took the night
that we returned home.
I also just wanted to say thanks
for letting santa dropped him off
early. The kids still talk about
it!!! I'll send you some snow
pictures from the other day soon.
Copper just loved the snow, they
chased the kids up and down the
hill while they were sledding and
loved walking through the woods
on our snow walk.
I'll send the other pictures soon.
Thanks again for a wonderful
addition to our family!!!

The ride home was wonderful. Ginger is a
well behaved girl. However, I am pretty
sure she is already spoiled, we all love her
soooo much. She had so much
personality! We love the way she gently
grumble/growls when we love on her, it is
soo cute (kinda like when you are hungry?
Not sure how to explain the noise!, But it’
s cute) We have fallen in love! I have
included a couple of pictures. One of her
first night in her crate, and one with her
Big Brother Holden, who worships the
ground her paws tread on!

Thank you for our baby!
Hi George and Caroline,

We have been on your website
quite often, and we LOVE it!!
Mike and I have seriously been
talking about getting a female
Golden.  We were wondering
when you were planning another
litter.  Is there a way to let you
know ahead of time so that we
could be assured a female?

The whole family was so happy to
see that Duke’s brothers got a
home.  We love to watch the
progress of the puppies and see
the other one’s that have been
adopted.  Keep up the good
work!!

Thanks,
Mike and Jenny Larivee
Hello George!
I know it has only been one day, but Mya Maybelle (Mya for short) seems to be adjusting to her new
home quite wonderfully.  I think she woke Danny and I up every hour last night, and of course all she
wants to do today is sleep.  She is such a sweetheart and she is spoiled rotten already.  We love her so
much.  Thank you for our new baby girl.
We will send you updated pictures, so you and Carolyn can see how much she is growing.
Thank you again, Danny, Katie and Mya
Hi George, this is Jeff Webster.  Robin and I are so happy with Bailey!!  Tomorrow he will be 8 weeks
old.  He is been so good and growing fast.  Even when he is big, he will still be our lap dog.  Potty
training has been going very well, he is smart.  He is already playing fetch with tennis balls, just gets
sidetracked after a couple of throws, so many other things to do.  We will send some pictures soon!!
Thanks again for everything!  I see that Lace's puppies are sold, I'm sure they will all be as sweet as our
Bailey!!  Jeff and Robin
Hi Carolyn & George,

Hope you are doing well!

We just wanted to give you an update on Weaver and share
some photos with you.

He is doing great! We were a little concerned that a 3 1/2 month
old puppy would be more set in his ways on the farm, and not
transition as well as a younger puppy. On the contrary. Weaver
was right at home from the start! House training has been
relatively painless. He has slept through every night since the
beginning, which is amazing to us. And he's so smart. After just
10 days, and some time commitment on our part to work with
him, he already knows sit, down and leave it. He's walking fairly
well on a leash. Sure, he has some puppy moments--but if he
didn't, he wouldn't be a puppy. :)

I also want to say how good he is around kids and people in
general. He's very calm, doesn't jump or snap...really a polite
young man!

We are bummed that we already have to leave town for a few
days and will need to board him. But the good news is he'll be
enrolled in a "Board n' Train' at Kennelwood Village--so he will
be well educated upon our return (not to mention, he'll enjoy
daycamp and yappy hour). So being apart will probably be harder
on us than it is on him.

Thanks again for bringing us together with such a wonderful little
fellow. We'll send you some photos from time to time as he grows.

In the meantime, enjoy the photos. I'll send them one-at-a-time
to hopefully speed up the download process. This close-up really
shows the little "weave" on his nose.

Take care and God bless,
Jay & Kathy Broska
Hello George and Caroline,

I just had a spare moment and
wanted to drop a line to tell you that
words can not express how happy we
are with the puppy, Rebel,  that we
adopted from you guys.  Rebel is
going to the vet today for his 8 week
check up and to tell you the truth it is
hard for me as the parent to believe
he is only 8 weeks.  Rebel is already
just about potty trained, he already
goes to the door and whines when he
needs to go out and has never messed
in his kennel.  I thought that the first
night was going to be ruff with it
being his first night away from his
family but he was a champ.  Maybe
Rebel was the wrong name for us to
pick, he has truly been a blessing.
However when Tyler and him get
going, they are both rebel's, one is
always testing the limits!  Rebel has
adjusted very well to his "new" two
legged brother (as you can see from
the truck picture)!   Tyler goes to bed
asking about his dog and it's the first
thing that comes out of his mouth in
the morning.  It has been a great joy
watching the two of them the past two
weeks and I am looking forward to
the future as I watch them grow and
become best friends, if they are not
already!

As I have said words are not enough,
thank you for a wonderful dog!  WE
will keep in touch!

Sam, Tyler and Rebel
Hello George and Carolyn,
I couldn't wait to send you some updated pictures of Mya.  She is getting so big, fast.  She was 13.8lbs
at her 9 week visit to the vet.  She will be 3 months old on 3/13/07, and she is already 20lbs.
She is so wonderful and her and Kenzie(the cat) get along great these days.  The potty training is
coming along wonderfully.  There are few accidents these days and she is finally sleeping through the
night.
Mya loves to play, and she especially loves it outside with the other dogs.  All of our neighbors have
dogs and she loves to run up-and-down the fence with each of them.  Sometimes it is hard to even get
her to come inside.  Danny and I have taught her to sit, shake and play fetch.  She catches on quickly,
especially when there is a treat involved.
I hope you enjoy the new pics of Mya and I am sure there will be more to come in the future.  Thank
you again for such a wonderful little girl.  We love her so much.
We hope to hear from you soon, Danny, Katie and Mya
Hi George and Caroline,
We thought you would like to see how Duke is growing.  He
is absolutely
the
most beautiful dog ever!!  We love him so much.  He is
awesome with the
kids
and he has been very easy to train.  He loves to cuddle in
bed with
whoever
will let him in.  You can see how much our daughter loves
him.  He helps
her
go to sleep every night.
We will keep you up to date with him as he grows.
Thanks again!!

Here, Molly is
around 6 mos. She
looks just like her
mama, Satin.
This is Molly with her
older "sister" Gracie.
They just love each
other.

Hello George and Carolyn
Here are some pics of molly playing with her
sister (lol) chewing on the same bone almost
everyday they do this. They are great
together. We all enjoy Molly Mae very much
her nickname is goofy. She has the best
personality. She is just now starting to bark
at the neighborhood dogs before she would
hide under the kitchen table. She is a blast.
Love always, Sis

Many thanks to everyone
who has sent us updates!

We would love to see more
updates of all of the
puppies we have sold in
the past, just recently, and
in the future. PLEASE,
keep those letters and
pictures coming!
Hi Carolyn & George,
It's been awhile, so we wanted to write with a quick update on our
bundle of
love--Weaver--who is now 7+ months old.
Long story short, we love him to pieces. He is such a great dog (our
trainer describes
him as "compliant")--and he still likes to follow Jay around the
yard, picking up sticks or
whatever he can! It always reminds us of how you said he followed
George around the
farm.
He has an awesome personality and continues to be great with
kids. Even though he's
bigger now, he still politely sits when children pet him--and you can
almost always count
on him rolling on his back for a belly rub. The funny thing is--while
his training has taught
him a lot--he has been wonderful with kids and grown-ups ever
since we brought him
home. He's just a good natured dog--period.
A few photos attached: one is his first hike, the other two are from
this weekend. We
just opened our pool, and Weaver decided that he needed a chair
just like mommy &
daddy. That's why those two pictures are called, "it's a dogs life."
(You can still see the
weave on his nose!)
All the best. Hope you are both during well.
Take care,
Jay & Kathy (and Weaver)
Here is a recent picture of
Bentley. He turned one on
Aug.5th. He is doing great!
We all enjoy him so much. He
doesn't like the heat at all. Of
course, neither do we.
He goes outside as little as
possible. Usually we exercise him
early in the AM and lated in the
Pm.
Thanks for such a wonderful dog!

Hello,
Just thought that I would send you
some pictures of Copper. He is doing
great, out of his chewing stage, but
loves his tennis balls. If you don't
throw the ball to him he will drop the
ball in your lap and sit there looking
all sad until you throw it. He is so
much fun and full of energy. Thanks
again for this wonderful part of our
family!!!

Hi George, hope this finds you
well!
We took these pics at Christmas,
Ginger is now 13 months old, can
you believe it????? Is she not a
doll????? We love her soooo
much,
what a pleasure she has been, Can
you tell she is spoiled rotten? She
has been "talking" some too, it is
fun to hear her try to tell us soooo
much!.  She recently had a visit to
doc as well and is doing
wonderful. We can not begin to
thank you enough for our
wonderful girl! Ginger has truly
"spiced" up our life!
Have a wonderful New Year!
Dear Carolyn and George, glad you recieved the pictures of Bailey.  We check your website about twice
a month for more pup pictures, they are all so cute!!  You guys have the most beautiful Goldens!!!!  We
are going on vacation for about 2 weeks to the lake, and we will send more pictures when we get
back----he loves to swim!!  Bailey lays just like Jacob does, usually with his right paw tucked under like
Jacob does on the website, and Bailey also lays upside down while sleeping like Pumpkin does on the
website!!  We noticed that too!!  Take care and we'll be sending some more pictures soon!!  God
bless-----Jeff and Robin Webster
Hi George!  I can't believe how long
we've had Sparky. He just turned one
in September. He is such a good dog.
Everyone just falls in love with him. In
fact, Steve's cousin might be calling
you. Everyone met Sparky at the
reunion in May and wondered where he
was last weekend. Think I have three
relatives that said they would take him
a heartbeat. The boys of course love
him to pieces. He's such good sport
and puts up with all the craziness
around here with three boys. Thanks
again for such a great dog!

Hi George & Carolyn,
We adopted our Golden, Weaver, from you in Feb. 2007. We still visit  your  web page every now and
then to see what cute puppies you have, and  we think of  you often because we are so blessed to have
such a great dog.  (We sometimes  wish we had just taken two at once--but Weaver is a bit spoiled
now being an only dog!) Anyway, we know how you enjoy updated photos, so wanted  to pass these
along. Weaver is the sweetest dog. He keeps life interesting  with his antics (he is now a master at paper
fetching), and he is SO good with kids. Enjoy the photos. Hope this finds you well.
