Hi George and Carolyn!
I can't tell you how much we're enjoying Ozzie! He's sweet, affectionate, gentle,
smart, playful, and submissive. He sits at my feet for hours at a time while I
study - we've established a substantial chew toy collection here already! Thank
you for everything you taught him! With the exception of a few quick lessons
about computer cords, he hasn't chewed anything inappropriate. He only had 1
accident (at my in-laws - none here so far!). He retrieves and releases beautifully
(which Albert still doesn't do - I'd love to know how you taught Ozzie)! Albert
is having some jealousy issues, but they're already subsiding, and the two finally
played well together today.

Carolyn and George-
I just wanted to send a quick note! We have so enjoyed having the little puppy around. Everyone has
fallen in love with her. We kept it pretty quiet this weekend and I brought her to school to pick up the
kids and everyone just loved her! She is so cute and adorable (and a little lazy...yeah!). Our older dog
is still not to sure about her but I am sure that will change as she gets a little bigger. They both laid
downstairs and slept most of the day, so you think they would get along!
The kids decided on Keely for a name. It is working so far. She does great with going potty and we are
trying hard to get her into a kennel mode.
Just wanted to send a quick thanks to you and George! We are so thankful to have her and have really
enjoyed our first few days with her!
If we ever need another puppy in the future, we will definitely be back!
Take care!
Patty

George,
This letter is long overdue. We came out to your place on July 14th and adopted Puppy #5 from
Dumplin's litter that was born May 3rd.
Ellie May is a joy to our family. She house trained quickly, she adapted to her new home well. She has
big soft floppy ears and loves to get into everything. She loves to catch crickets in our yard.
We are not computer saavy with pictures so these come the old fashioned way. Please feel free to share
on your website.
We feel that it was divine intervention-we had a beloved golden named Holly thta got sick earlier this
year and we had to put her down in the spring. Ellie reminds us of holly and my daughter says she
thinks Holly sent her to us!
Thank you for raising such beautiful dogs!

Hi Carolyn & George,
Happy New Year!
A quick Bella update. She was spayed
yesterday and is doing well!
A few pictures of her. The most recent are the
ones of her in the tub and turning her head (I
apologize for the color on that one) the others
are about a month old when she was sleeping
in my car.
She weighs 47 pounds! And as you know, I
love her to pieces!
I think she needs a little brother/sister this
spring!
I hope you and George are doing well!
Amy
They also bought Albert from us
last year. The Lessmans are very
nice people who drove all the way
from Nebraska to get Albert and
Ozzie. Thanks guys!

Hey George!
We are emailing you to give you an update on
Champ! Well he is just about eight months old
and he is full of energy!! About a month ago
we started letting him sleep outside of his crate
at night and he is doing so well! He is so
incredibly smart! Smart enough to know that
he shouldn't be doing something so he tries to
be extra sneaky :) We love him so dearly and
he is a wonderful addition to our family! He is
full of personality and loves being around
other dogs. We take him to the Dog Park all
the time and he has a blast! He actually just
put his head down on the keyboard while I was
typing! He loves to be in the kitchen with me
while I am cooking. (Go figure!) Thanks so
much for giving us such a wonderful pup!! You
guys are great!!

She is 20lbs. She is doing

rings a bell on
the door to let us know

Thanks again for all that

George and Carolyn - Just wanted to send you a note about our baby we got from you, Sidney. Sidney
was Lace's #1 male, we picked him up on
Nov. 3, 2008. We are crazy about him. He plays well with his sister, Sissy (who is 5yrs). He is definitely
keeping us young.
We would not trade Sidney for all the gold in the
world. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. Sissy and Sidney
are our world. He is so smart. I have enclosed a couple pictures so you can see how much he has
grown. At 4 months, he is 35 lbs, and
marked so beautifully.
So grateful for the wonderful puppies you provide.

I wanted to send you some photos
and let you know how Eleanor was
doing.
I am feeding her good food and
taking her to the vet for all of
her shots. She is a little over 4
months now. As you can see she is
the most beautiful thing in the
world. She is fully potty trained and
I work with her every day on
obedience. She is very smart and
everything I could have hoped for in
a companion.
I can't wait to take her camping in
the mountains.
Thank you very much.

Hi George,
My wife and I got a puppy from you at the end of November, beginning of December 2007. She was
born in October, but as I write this I cannot remember who her mother is. She has been a great dog
and we love her a lot. I've attached a picture that one of our friends took and that we used on our
Christmas card this year. The reason I am writing is because I have a question about something the vet
told us this past weekend when we were in for her year check up.
A couple months ago Daisy did the splits on our hardwood floors and ever since then once in a while
she will favor her back right leg if she tweaks it from playing too hard or steps on something
awkwardly. Usually she'll just lift it up and hop on 3 legs for less than a minute and then she is back to
running around like nothing is wrong. After it first happened I called the vet and he told me to give her
a small dose of aspirin because maybe it was inflamed and to try and limit her activity (easier said than
done). I think it did get better since it first happened, but she still does it once in a while so I asked the
vet about it again this past weekend. He examined her and told us that he observed that her back knee
joints pop and crack a lot more than normal. He didn't think that the excessive popping and cracking
had anything to do with the splits incident but he recommended that we get some x-rays taken in the
next month or so. He said that it was not urgent since she otherwise seemed to be doing great.
I guess I was just wondering if you have ever encountered anything like this. The vet didn't think it was
an early sign of hip dysplasia since she doesn't have a problem getting up and down which he said is
usually an early indicator. We are hoping that that the joints pop just a little more than normal and
that it isn't a sign of something worse.
My wife and I would appreciate and thoughts you may have.
Thanks.
Jeremy and Trista Thompson
I contacted the Thompson's and Daisy is just fine and has recovered from her "splits" accident.

Subject: Update on Pumpkin's Golden Pixie Louise!
Date: Sun, 15 Feb 2009
Hi George,
We are writing to let you know how much we've enjoyed having Pumpkin's Golden Pixie Louise, born
on 9/23 - we picked her up from you on
11/4. She's doing GREAT and growing like a weed. We all love her so much and she's
such a good girl. In fact, we joke that we are still waiting for her to cause a lot of trouble, but she just
minds so well. She's so eager to please
us and she's such a fast learner.
She's nearly finished with her first puppy class session. I may be biased, but I think she's the star of her
class. We met a person who adopted one of
Satin's babies who was also born on 9/23 (his name is Hero). We'll be taking the next training class with
them so the step siblings can hang out a little bit. It will be interesting to see if they know they are
related.
We just adore her and know she'll continue to be a joyful part of our family for many, many years. We
may see you again someday - our daughter
is already asking for another Golden. We visit your website regularly and peek at your
puppies. They are all so beautiful!
I've attached some pictures from the last 3 months. You can see how she's grown so much. We think
she looks a lot like her daddy at this point! Enjoy!
We hope you are well and looking forward to a wonderful spring season.
All our best,
The Schmidt Family

Carolyn,
Here is a couple of pictures of
Shmoo Biscuit who started out
with you as Autumn. She is
the daughter of Jacob's
Trouble II and Sugar's Golden
Lace. The picture in the swing
was taken at about 10 or 11
weeks I think and the other is a
more recent picture within the
last couple of months. If I get
a better one I will try to send it
to you. Biscuit's original
picture use to be on the website
at one time when you had
pictures of some of the puppies
that you had sold. Anyway,
thanks for the information and
God Bless You!

Subject: Cinnamons last female Date: Sun, 22 Feb 2009
Hi George,
I picked up cinnamons last female pup January 27th and she has been a great new addition to the
family. I have named her Zoey and her and my beagle/dachsund mix (Brutus) are now pretty well
inseparable, though it wasn't the case the first few days. I got her home and brutus got so stressed out
that he had a cluster of seizures and then two more the next day. The vet said
it was probably due to stress and to just monitor him for a couple of weeks but after two days he began
to warm up to her. She is a very smart dog and
learning very quickly. I picked her up on a tuesday and she was housebroke by saturday!!!! I was in
complete shock and thought it was just a fluke
but an hour or so later she went out the doggy door again and I looked out and there she was going
potty. I have owned about 5 dogs in my life and never have I had it so easy. She has only had one
accident since and it was only because it was raining and every time she tried to go out she was getting
soaked and finally she had to go bad enough she went in the house. Anyway her and Brutus wrestle
pretty much all day long and cuddle up for naps but
everytime I catch them cuddling Brutus runs away as if he doesn't like her, it is really funny. Well I just
wanted to give you an update on her and
thank you for such a great dog. I have also attached some pictures of her and will try to remember to
send more as she gets older. I just got
the camera and am still trying to figure it out so hopefully some better pictures will
follow in the coming months. Thanks again for Zoey she is a great dog and I am so glad that I got her.

Hi George,
Once again I’d like to thank you for bringing such a wonderful puppy into my mom and dad’s lives.
My dad and I picked up the last puppy on March 7th to give to my mom for her birthday. She was so
shocked and happy that
she cried. My mom named her Ginger and she is adjusting very well. She is rather spoiled if I do say
so myself. She has her own chair in the living room and sleeps in late in bed with my dad. The first day
we got her she was already starting to chase the tennis ball around. She loves to squeak toys and chew
on bones. She is also adjusting well to her new crate and doesn’t make any messes in it. She absolutely
loves to play outside with her ball and loves to run with the rope toy in her mouth. She
still hasn’t quite figured out that when she runs fast with it, it swings so much that she trips over it, but
it’s rather amusing to watch her try. She loves to splash in her water dish and put her feet in it when
she drinks. She already loves the water hose and I can’t wait to see her swim in the summer when we
take her to the lake with us. The pictures I am sending are from my mom’s birthday and the first night
she had her. The following week, I brought my lab and border collie over to my moms for a
play date and they all had a blast. They played hard and slept good that night. I will get those to you
as soon as I get a copy. Thanks again for raising
such beautiful dogs.

Hi Carolyn and George,
Just wanted to let you know
our little Miss Mia is doing
good and we love her soo
much!! She hasn't gone
"potty" in her crate one time
and sleeps through the night.
She loves chasing the kids and
is the center of attention at
soccer games and practices.
Thanks so much,
